My obligatory Merry Christmas post!

Well it's Christmas eve and all is done - just waiting to go over to my aunt and uncle's place for the evening! I'm adding a pic of my tree (no topper yet) and one ornament my Grandma Tatman made many years ago - I have lots of ornament photos I could share, but am just going with this one for now.

It's been a good year; the best gift being my new nephew of course - now if only Jeff and I are blessed with the same in 2007! I am thankful for many good things in my life right now, so no complaints - just one very big wish!

I'm an aunt!

My baby bro Brian and his wife had their first baby yesterday and so I'm an official (by blood) aunt for the first time (Jeff's sisters have kids, only one of which I know). It was emotional and my feelings were mixed a bit as I still do not have a child after losing Delaney, but I'm so happy for them and my parents to finally be grandparents again. I know how much that means to them. So yesterday I was in a funk, but I felt good today and went to the hospital and fell in love......little Beckett is so adorable - I just held him for an hour and watched his face change expressions while he slept........so sweet! Ok, I'm slacking

Once again on posting. I was hit HARD with a nasty cold virus this week. It threw me off in so many ways. School - WAY behind on paperwork, kids were crazy while I was gone, some things didn't get done well.........so I had to have some serious consequences with the class on Friday. I did very well showing them my disappointment and sticking to my guns on it all!

Christmas shopping, a bit is done but a long way to go. As for making things, HAH! I have been so uninspired......I think partly due to being hooked on Mah Jongg connect....I will not link it as I don't want anyone else as hooked as me! Gotta get past it and spend my time in my craft room PRODUCTIVELY!

But I am getting in the Christmas spirit gradually - think I will find a Christmas video to share!
