Been tagged

Gotta write seven random facts about me........so here goes:

1. I have a recurring benign cyst that shows up in my neck every so often (been removed twice).
2. I performed as part of a large color guard unit at the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver BC Worlds Fair in 1986 - having also lived in New Orleans when they had the 1984 one, AND having gone up to the Knoxville one in 1982 (we lived in Miss then) - haven't lived near one since!
3. Played pretend teacher as a kid; but took me an extra while to realize that it was meant to be for my career!
4. I hate coconut - blech, ick.....
5. Played varsity basketball in high school, but I typically kept the bench warm!
6. I had strep throat, chicken pox and neck surgery (see 1.) all in one summer after 3rd grade
7. Was part of a group that lip-synched Madonna in college and won a dorm competition at the Uof Wa - and came in 3rd in all dorms - we did a reverse Material Girl (with well-known guy playing Madonna, and bunch of us girls playing the men fawning over her like in video)

Well there ya have it......I tried to be random! Ok any of my buddies from Pops or Scrappinscruds yahoo groups - I tag you!!!!!!

What I need....

First off, I had to add this video of Tim McYummy, I mean McGraw - I wasn't sure about this song at first, but it has grown on me and I hum it all the time!

Ok my Pops scrapbooking buddies have been doing this little Google game so I had to do it too. Go try it; go to Google and type in "your name" Needs - and see what comes up. This is what came up for me:

Diana needs a wealthy husband who can provide her with the high life she craves while sheltering her from the ... RIGHT ON!
Diana needs a Hug Photo
Diana needs to come over and turn my charming studio into a warehouse loft! UH, not that talented!
Princess Diana tends to process emotional events in advance, so that when things happen, they already seem to be in the past. And sadly, so is she
Diana needs to take a trip – YES!
Diana loves romance and wishes that the honeymoon phase of her love relationships would last forever Uh long gone, but what’s left is still good!
I think diana needs a pet, something to cuddle when she misses her sisters and now her best friends Got that covered!
Microsoft needs Diana? – hehe, I like this one! I’m an autodesk I guess – But will they pay me the bucks?
Diana needs some time and space away from Ryder to think Whatever
Diana needs to get back into the studio with Ashford and Simpson as they are a match made in musical heaven Not this Diana
Diana needs to go into Chinatown and do some food shopping. Hmm, yummy but so far away
Diana needs to find a new photographer Sure – but I just took a pic of myself that I loved
Diana needs cash just as much as Charlie does, so she goes along with his plan to rip off callers. Yea I need it, but wouldn’t go with this plan!

Of course, much was about Princess Diana or Diana Ross.....hehe.......I did have to comment at the end of each one! Enjoy and let me know if you did it so I can go read it!

Back to work

Well spring break is over. It was great while it lasted; did a lot of scrapbooking (see pics) and kept the house clean and just hung out with people. We had a fun surprise 50th birthday party for my cousin Marianne Friday night followed by a BBQ for family on Saturday - then Sunday was our Easter brunch.......mmm it's always great. But the best part is hanging out with family; and for me, my favorite is my little nephew Beckett....I love all babies, and dearly miss mine; this little guy has touched me so much......I adore him since he's family and he's reminded me of how much I miss my lil girlygirl.....

So anyway, I did some paper and digital pages (including the spring one here) - some as part of a game at www.treasurestoscrap.com - a fun message board run by a friend of mine I met at CKU a few years ago.

I'm so happy lately to live where I live; spring is here and has stayed; unlike the unlucky folks on the east side of the country! May your spring come back soon! The flowers in my layout above are ALL from my yard - who'd a thunk I'd enjoy doing a little yardwork - the reward is worth it!
